“A friend is nothing more than a well-known enemy”

Kurt Cobain

“Nirvana” is a great and exciting story about one of the iconic figures of the 90s generation!

You can hardly imagine a person who have never heard about “Nirvana” group and its leader Kurt Cobain, the idol of millions. Yuri Grymov presents a poignant story of the legendary musician who is in constant struggle with his own demons. We can see not an ideal person, but an ideal artist.

“Nirvana” is a sincere and live musical performance about a huge power and obvious helplessness of a talented person before the evil, about the true value of the fame and recognition, as well as the importance of the choice.

The frank Kurt Cobain, the hot Courtney Love and their bright “flash” love, the insidious Drag, - all of them make a wonderful tandem of music, philosophy of life and genuine emotions!

“Nirvana” is full of drive, rock-and-roll, sharp dialogues and vivid images, and also… unbelievable director’s decisions.

“I always say that the only territory of freedom is theatre. Freedom breeds responsibility. Theatre should take on social functions and speak frankly with the audience”,Yuri Grymov, the director tells.

*For “Nirvana” shows the grunge style as a special dress code is welcome.

Dear guests!

We have a moderate dress-code in our theatre: let’s say a not formal suit, classic jeans, semi-evening dresses (style smart casual) and “after five”.

We ask you not to use sports clothing and footwear, T-shirts and also shorts.

Let’s spend together a wonderful and unforgettable night in Modern Theatre!

See you!

«See you at the theater!»
